The purpose of this day-long event is to explore both unique and common challenges in quantitative data literacy across campus, as well as potential next steps for student and faculty support. We also want to connect instructors from different departments and to map out quantitative data literacy across the campus. There will also be an opportunity to share teaching strategies and assessments. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
We are looking to have 1 or 2 faculty representatives from departments that have one or more courses designated QR and/or a significant quantitative focus.
