Congratulations to all of the Spring 2026 Data Science Student Fellows! On April 27, 2026, 38 students presented their 16 data and AI projects in the Spring ’26 Showcase for the JoAnn Patrick-Ezzell ’75 & Andrew Ezzell Data Science Student Fellows Program through the Dominguez Center for Data Science.  Each of these interdisciplinary student teams collaborated with project stakeholders and data science mentors to tackle a real-world data science project.  Working across a wide range of disciplines, the students addressed data-centric questions with visualizations, maps, predictive models, surveys, text corpora, dashboards, and much more. He highlighted how data science bridges mathematics, computing, and domain expertise, while emphasizing the importance of clear communication, ethical responsibility, and reproducibility in analytical work. LEAF-Writer Wins the 2025 Rahtz Prize for TEI Ingenuity

The 2025 Rahtz Prize for TEI Ingenuity was awarded to the collaborators of LEAF-Writer! LEAF-Writer is a component of the Linked Editorial Academic Framework, the first U.S.-based installation of the virtual research environment. The development of LEAF-Writer Commons was a collaboration between Bucknell University, the Collaboratory for Writing and Research on Culture (CWRC), and colleagues at Newcastle University in the United Kingdom.
