The world runs on data and you’ll encounter data-driven arguments everywhere, from the news to your college courses. To be an informed citizen and to participate in your field, you must be prepared to understand and to critically evaluate arguments made with data. And, as AI rapidly integrates into daily life, developing a fundamental understanding of what AI is, how it is used, and the biases and ethical considerations involved is essential. In this workshop, we will demystify data and AI through real-world examples, visualizations, and hands-on activities, empowering you to think critically and responsibly about data and AI.
