If you have questions about data or would like support for a data research project, faculty and staff can email data-help@bucknell.edu for help.
In your email message, please describe your data, the tools, methods, or software you are exploring, and any necessary context so that we can best decide who from our team can support you.
A group of staff from the Dominguez Center for Data Science, Library Services, and the Office of Institutional Research & Analytics will receive your email. You will receive an email response from the person or group who can best support your data needs. Our team has a wide variety of experience with data, but we cannot guarantee that we will have the expertise or the capacity to support every project.
The Dominguez Center for Data Science (DCDS) offers one-on-one and drop-in consulting sessions for the Bucknell Community. We provide guidance on data science questions that relate to your research, work, or classroom. This includes advice on the wrangling, visualization, and analysis of data, support with the interpretation of results, suggestions for relevant resources for your data-oriented tasks, and discussions related to updating the statistical content or software for a course, your work, or your research.
We encourage you to seek advice early on in your data science projects but welcome questions from projects at any stage of the process. This is a short-term consulting service, where you can sign up or drop in for up to two sessions a semester. Reach out to the Director of the Dominguez Center for Data Science if you are looking for longer term collaboration opportunities.
