AI in Scholarly Communications

Monday, September 29, 4:30-6pm, Bertrand Library 213 (Traditional Reading Room)

AI is rapidly reshaping scholarly communication–from writing and citation to copyright and peer review. Its promise of greater efficiency comes with real risks and costs to research integrity, scholarly credibility, and authors’ rights. This session will help faculty and staff understand these changes and take an active role in shaping how AI is used in academic publishing. Offered in partnership with Library Services and the Dominguez Center for Data Science. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. View the poster.
